Author Georgia Twynham to Visit The Priory
After winning the ‘Lincolnshire Young People’s Book Award’ in 2011, Georgia Twynham’s trilogy has become more and more popular. The books are called ‘The Thirteenth’, ‘The Turncoats’ and, her latest book, ‘Nyteria Rising’. Georgia Twynham’s (or G.L. Twynham as is written on her books) trilogy is a compelling read and has something in them for everyone.
Georgia Twynham is due to visit The Priory Academy LSST on Wednesday 25th April 2012 and will be selling the first two books of her exciting trilogy for £7.99 each. Students will get a chance to have them personalised and signed at Lunchtime in the Library.
Georgia will also be coming into our school to do a Creative Writing workshop for some lucky selection of Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils - a chance for them to learn directly from a published author and to show her their ideas. She will also be leading an after-school talk, open to all year groups, about how to become a published author.
Many people would love to take up this chance to meet Georgia and get their books personalised and signed so don’t miss it on Wednesday 25th April 2012 at Lunchtime in the Library, or after school in the Lecture Theatre.
