Wheelchair Basketball Champion
Congtraulations to Rees Ross - a National Champion.
Over the half-term break Rees represented the East Midlands Junior Wheelchair Basketball Team at the National Championships at The Stoke Mandeville Stadium. The event is the biggest junior championships for wheelchair basketball across the country with representation from the regional divisions in England and teams from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The East Midlands team stormed through the qualification process and eventually were crowned National Champions by beating the team from Northern Ireland in the final. This is a fantastic achievement and one that Rees should be extremely proud of. The school is very proud to have a National Champion amongst its ranks and invites you all to join in on celebrating Rees’ achievements.
