Harry Potter: the Finale
It’s the moment that millions of Harry Potter fanatics have been waiting for. The release of the trailer for ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two’ has fans on tenterhooks. With Hogwarts on fire, hints towards the final battle and fire-breathing monsters, the 1 minute 58 second trailer already has almost 2 million views.
The Harry Potter films have been on our screens for over a decade, and Studio Warner Bros. have decided the Potter franchise and its stars have became so big that the premiere will not take place in Leicester Square, but rather in Trafalgar Square, the first ever movie premiere to be held there.
Fans worldwide are searching the trailer for any clues as to what the final movie will bring. There are images of scenes not mentioned in the book, with critics calling it ‘epic’. The final movie will include a star-studded cast of the usual Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, with added Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Bill Nighy and Alan Rickman.
When Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released on July 21st 2007, it sold 15 million copies within the first 24 hours, and it became the fastest selling book in history. The 7-set series has been translated into 67 different languages, and the last four books have consecutively broken the record for the fastest-selling books in history.
