Contract

The Priory is a community of learners.  Every member of this community has a responsibility to each other, which we have outlined in the Contract.  Detailed guidance for Students, Teachers and Parents is provided on separate pages.

As a student I pledge to:

1) Work hard in lessons and keep to the Code of Conduct
2) Take part in enrichment activities
3) Know my targets and work to achieve them
4) Take on a range of responsibilities
5) Use the new technologies available within the Academy to help me learn
6) Attend Academy events as a participant or as a supporter
7) Attend the Academy regularly and achieve the 96%+ attendance target
8) Talk to a teacher if I have any concerns

As an Academy we pledge to:

1) Offer a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum that promotes the goal of life long learning
2) Offer a range of enrichment activities
3) Set achievement targets, monitor progress and report home regularly to parents
4) Provide opportunities for students to take responsibility
5) Ensure that all students have access to new technology
6) Celebrate student achievement in all aspects of academy life
7) Provide clear expectations on levels of achievement, behaviour and attendance
8) Contact parents if there are issues over progress, behaviour or attendance

As a parent I pledge to: 

1) Encourage my child to learn at home and at the Academy
2) Encourage my child to take part in a range of enrichment activities
3) Monitor my child’s achievements through checking Academy books, planners and reports
4) Provide opportunities for my child to take on responsibilities at home
5) Encourage my child to use new technology
6) Attend Parents’ Evenings, and if possible support events in which my child participates
7) Support the Academy’s expectations in terms of my child's behaviour and uniform
8) Encourage my child to attend the Academy regularly and achieve the 96%+ attendance target
9) Contact the Academy if I have concerns or if my child is absent
