Extra Curricular
Welcome to the Priory Ruskin Academy extra curricular activities booklet, which details all of the exciting activities on offer. They range from examination support for older students, to new sporting opportunities including archery and martial arts for all ages and abilities. The Academy is also lucky in having good links with the South West Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership who support us in offering indoor rowing, outdoor adventure activities at PGL in Caythorpe and other activities when they become available.
In the future there will be the opportunity for Year 7 students to participate in lunchtime activities run by our Sports Leaders. These sessions will include cricket, tennis and football. With the support of the Priory Federation we have a small number of students from across the Academy taking part in polo sessions run at Leadenham Polo Club. If you are interested in taking part in polo in the future please see Mrs Hedge.
Other activities such as golf will be on offer to students as they become available so please look out for them. The sessions will start at 3.10pm on the Queensway site and 3.20pm at the Manthorpe site. Please see Mr Brand for details of any activity.
