I am delighted to welcome you to The Priory Academy LSST. 

We are a highly successful Academy, with academic results that make us one of the top performing schools in the country.  Our Ofsted Report gave us a judgement of Outstanding.

Every year a significant number of our students gain places at Oxbridge colleges, UK Medical Schools and a range of other top universities.

In addition to academic studies, we offer an exciting range of extracurricular activities.  We have our own Combined Cadet Force, we offer DofE to Gold and both Sport and The Arts feature heavily in our extensive programme of activities.

We have excellent facilities and place significant emphasis on creating a stimulating environment in which to learn – artwork and sculpture feature heavily in the quads, gardens and corridors. 

We have a number of projects that have been completed or are near to completion. The recently opened Newton Centre is our state of the art science facility that has four labs, a research centre, a debating chamber and a planetarium. Our sports centre, opened at the start of the academic year, has its own 60m indoor sprint track, badminton courts, climbing wall, gym, dance studio, and an outside 400m synthetic running track.  The Robert De Cheney Boarding House, which is for Sixth Form students interested in boarding, is receiving applications from students for the next academic year.  There are sixty single study bedrooms, all ensuite, as well as social and dining areas.

Our distinctive ethos, which we call The Priory Way, ensures that our students appreciate the excitement of learning, the rewards of personal challenge and the importance of responsibility to others.  As a result they become true citizens of the world.
