Teacher Training

The Priory Federation of Academies is very keen to support Initial Teacher Training.  The routes into teaching have changed significantly in recent times and for 2013-2014 there are two main ways we support:

• The School Direct Training Programme is open to all graduates and is funded by tuition fees paid by the trainee, who may receive a bursary from The Teaching Agency.
• The traditional PGCE route via a university which is funded by tuition fees paid by the trainee.

We are a Higher Education Provider through our partnership with Nottingham Trent University.
