Priory Leisure
Priory Leisure members are able to use the fitness facilities from 3.15pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday as well as Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm. The Centre is open throughout the year, including holidays, with the exception of specific bank holidays and short periods for refurbishment.
The centre is supervised by a Duty Manager and a Deputy Duty Manager as well as other Leisure staff. This ensures that the gym is a safe environment. Members receive a full induction by a member of our Health and Fitness team prior to commencing their fitness programme and are able to record their workouts and track their progress using state of the art Fitlinxx technology.
In addition to the gym, we have also added to Priory Leisure access to the swimming pool. Additional classes include spinning and circuit training; and new from September 2012 are aqua-fit and triathlon. These are inclusive in a Priory Leisure membership.
Should you wish to join the scheme, there are two different payment options to choose from, each representing outstanding value for money:
- Annual Membership of £120 per academic year. The payment for Annual Membership can be made in a one-off payment of £120. By signing up to the Annual Membership, students are agreeing to pay the full amount. You can join at any point during the year for the corresponding fee - eg January to August = £80 for eight months.
or
- Casual Membership of £15 per month: paid no later than five working days into the month in question. The month will be judged as the first day of the month through to the last day of that month. You are not committed to an annual contract; but you will have to pay more per month for each month you use the facilities.
You can change from Casual Membership to Annual Membership at any point in the year. Any Casual payments already made will be deducted from the Annual fee due.
Payments can be made in one of the following ways:
- ‘+Pay’ - if you have signed up to either this service or parent mail then you can pay online via the school website. Details will be on the website. Please note this payment option is only for the annual contract.
- By hand - Payments should be returned to Student Reception in an envelope clearly labelled with ‘Priory Leisure’ and with your son's/daughter’s name and form. Please make all cheques payable to The Priory Academy LSST. Cheques are our preferred means of payment, but Student Reception does accept cash for the Casual Monthly Membership.
