SALARY: PPS4, £19,183 PER ANNUM (PRO RATA TO £7,385 PER ANNUM)

HOURS: 16 HOURS AND 40 MINUTES PER WEEK, 39 WORKING WEEKS PER YEAR

PERMANENT

START DATE: SEPTEMBER 2021

Huntingtower Community Primary Academy are currently seeking to appoint an Enhanced Support Assistant to work 16 hours and 40 minutes per week.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with and supporting students. The successful candidate will also support students across the curriculum both in and outside the classroom.

Qualifications in GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent are essential. Level 3 qualification or working towards is also essential. Previous experience of working with children is desirable.

We also welcome applicants who are interested in completing our Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship course if you do not meet our essential criteria for the Enhanced Support Assistant post. Please can you mention your interest in completing our Apprenticeship course in your Covering Letter.  GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above, or equivalent are required for this role. However, applications will be considered for this position from candidates who do not hold these qualifications as Functional Skills training will be given to the successful applicant.
